I put 2.25 BTC up for sale on ebay (it was what was left in my wallet), put it up for auction, and i was ecstatic when it sold for $50.00. I got my paypal payment right away from a buyer with 50+ feedback (this was actually my second auction, first auction sold to a seller with 0 feedback - so i cancelled). Everything seemed fine, until the next day Paypal security team took the $50.00 out of my account and said the buyer's account was compromised and they wanted me to prove that i shipped the item - knowing how paypal works, i know this is a losing situation and now im out 2.25 BTC / $50.00. LFMF - dont sell BTC on ebay. I still see alot of people selling them on there - although looking at some of them now, i see some people are sending out letters or pennies to the customer to show that they shipped something - clever.

I hope you leave some negative feedback for that fucker....

PayPal is a no win situation with BTC.

1) What happens if you move the money out of your paypal account immediately?
2) Is it not possible to take other forms of payment?

Cant leave negative feedback for buyers.

Your paypal account will go into the negative and they will charge the credit card you have on file. If the card is denied each time after a few weeks, the account will be deleted and go to collections. Its hard to take other forms of payment on ebay.
